DI is large, distributed organization with many volunteers filling many roles. Below is a list of the roles recognized by DIHQ and by the Resource Area and Global Finals websites.
Affiliate Director (AD) #
Resource Area
- assign affiliate roles such as ACMs, ABs, AAs
- assign regional roles such as RDs, RCMs
- define regions
- assign teams to regions
- define tournaments and events
- set affiliate attributes such as website and whether team info can be edited
- change team info such as coordinators, team managers, challenge and level
- export teams, team managers and coordinators
- import team information, team managers and coordinators
- import tournament schedules (also download)
- advance teams to the next level of competition
- visit AD, AGD and team challenge forums
- download most documents (challenges, training, affiliate documents, instant challenge materials,…)
- view public and private clarifications
- create score sheets
Global Finals
- nominate officials and view status
- certify winners and monitor acceptance
- register as AD
- view schedule
